Much ado about USD rebounds during falling markets, but JPY strength still outperforms USD.

Hi Ashraf,

How are u sir.... After the strong USD gdp, I am thinking of going Long USD/JPY at 90.80 and close it at 91.40.... Wht is ur opinion Ashraf.....

According to reuters on 26th January TFX margin traders in yen increased their combined net long position in dollar,euro,chf,cad &NZD v yen to a l7 month high to 308,758 contracts with about half
the positions in aud. The biggest one day shift in positions on data going back to July 2006

kashmir, looks like that yen party in Asia is taking place today not last night. Considering the fact that Nikkei rallied on Thurs and US stocks got damaged, the negative nikkei reaction allows no choice but to feed into USD and JPY as risk appetite is dumped.
