digi, yep they been discussing the problem with teens in uk. da boyz big problemo after passing driving test. Its incredibly sad when a young kid with a car full of teenagers decides to show off, sometimes brothers or sisters in da death trap. What to do ? If they put me in charge I could solve the problem :-) GPS tracking would have a role.

Most cars nowadays handle so well, brakes very good, easy to drive very high speeds but "experience" or "lack of" is the killer. In the old days the roads were not so crowded, the cars were slower, the brakes were crap, the reliability was often crap. Drivers were more alert expecting mechanical problems. I also think that the playstation culture encourages dare devil behaviour, just as the pawn culture encourages perversions to be seen as the "norm"--- more rapists, more degenerative murders etc etc etc.
