On my short eur/usd position, I lowered the stop to 1.4650 to lock in some profit before the news release.

And add to the confusion that most standard charting packages have the close at midnight whichever time zone the data feed is coming from. Only very few can adjust the actual close time. Although I believe a more sensible close is NY due to the liquidity there, the start of the day is certainly London. Asia is negligible.

@Mach, I hope Ashraf answers that question ! Should really be London close as London is forex king but I suspect he will say 1700 ET. (22.00 BST)

Cancer, that's a pretty good description. Been in remission recently.

On the big picture chart for EU so long as 1.5143 is not exceeded we are still "correcting" as far as I'm concerned. Implications of that is we see move back down to take out 1.1875 low. Its much too soon to be thinking this count and I was looking for the move up to end at c.4450 or extend to 4700. When 4700 was taken out the next target was 5045/50 which so far failed to test.

For me, the big picture jury is out until either we exceed 5143 or retrace back below 3427. No point in predicting too far ahead as price action will dictate and we play the swings in the meantime.

Ashraf, when you say 'close' you mean London close, NY, or the last print of the day for the interbank (2200 GMT)?
