China is supposed to announce additional stimulus packet. Not very clear why. Wasn't the stimulus package that rallied industry metals oil sufficient? Anyway I will not short industry metals the short trade on copper is closed with profit.

FXT, USDCAD is still a good buy between 0.9970 and 1.003 for 50-70 pips profits but i wouldnt be a buyer above 1.02. Canadian fundamentals do not face any negatives..unless of course, a bad surprise awaits us in Can housing or if a double dip emerges in the US, which i do not rule out.

i still like to seel AUDCAD around 0.92-0.924 for 50-90 pips.

Dear Spec,

Due to Greece financial problem , why dont we hear any bankruptcy of Greek banks ?

Why people donot withdraw their money from banks ? Since Gold by Euro is above 850 Eu / ons,

while fallig EU people can save their money buying gold by euro .

Hi Ashraf

Thanks for your update on USDCAD, most helpful and very accurate only a few pips shy of your 10070 level today.

Could i impress on you for a longer term view on the USDCAD. In your view do you feel we are nearing a major bottom? If not do you feel the 2008 lows can be revisited?

In short do you have a 3 month view on the pair?

Thank you!

said last week that 1-week spikes in USDCAD are rarely isolated. Today's soft CPI and retail sales in Canada are more durable in boosting USDCAD towards 1.0070-80 but hard to see break above 1.014

Hi Ashraf and forum
Do you think the Bank of Canada will raise its interest rates soon and long before U.S does? Thus pushing USD/CAD further down.
