shaer, 1.6580 is very possible but watch out from 1.6840 now that we broke above 1.6750. be very careful.

shahiba, 1,6840 is the 3-month high so it's hard to see a break above it.

cable remains risky.

Speculators and general view on cable seems to be bearish which could fire up a rally if market cant go any more bearish. Yet, the fiscal position in the UK remains extremely unfavourable and could spark a run on the currency. Therefore there is a tug of war for cable.

Watch the dollar index for possible signs for cable. Should we close below 75 today cable could climb higher.

its interesting to see that where this GBPUSD will hit..Do you think that 1.5770 can be a valid target?

Hello Ashraf,
I am much thankful for your timely and accruate analysis. I was wondering what is the significance of the 1.6740-50 level resistance in Cable as the previous high was 1.6840 but you very accurately called for 1.6740 to hold. Would you please like to clarify the identificaiton of such resistance levels for us to learn? Thanks!

borini, watch the levels of the Dow and S&P i stated in the IMT. only if we get close to those levels for cable to break above 1.6740.
