VIX, Oil, BRICS & Sterling's Sell-Appeal

BRICS equity indices fail at key fib retracements, VIX and oil near major trend lines and sterling's sell-appeal hasn't looked this good in a while.

How about this?

Given that market directions across the world follows each other...short oil, make money. Then close position and open a short position in the Footsie at 0800. Then close it and open a short position in the DJ or S&P at 1300. Interesting..

Forum,

You may accuse me of being a bit cynical...but is it only me who feels that the trader community MAY take the markets further in a show of solidarity that we have moved on from the Lehman Monday Morning? Markets doing well at least today and tomorrow??

Ashraf,

I know, and read about, that 'sugar high'. Erian is a gifted finance professional. I will read his book; however, yours comes first in the pecking order.

Did you see John Thain's FT interview on the Lehman collapse and selling Merril to BofA? One of the best I've seen recently! Let me know, otherwise I'll forward it to you..
