VIX, Oil, BRICS & Sterling's Sell-Appeal

BRICS equity indices fail at key fib retracements, VIX and oil near major trend lines and sterling's sell-appeal hasn't looked this good in a while.

One thing we should all retain is that the "noise element" in these markets is rather significant and overshoots are being exagerated before technical targets are reached. Always remain conservative in margin usage.

asad
dow futures at 25 up
oil at 71.86 asian trading
treasury at 3.48 on the uptrend
all the ingredient for a good nordic cake
just place ur stop loss at 71.2
i try to understand from my side too; i amnot an expert but when market tend to move on both side or i wait and see or i stop a thin stop loss computerized.
i know oil has gone astray with three dollar on two side the last days but i was expecting such move not of that amplitude.
good quick snap.

Tired of waiting soon... Well, I need more patience, I can't see this just going up and not stop...

Said,

Look...if oil goes above this level, then we may as well put our limits at 85 and go to sleep (although I'm thinking of putting a stop at 65 and going for short, quick naps). Try justifying ANY rise above the current level...

Said,

I don't know about angry...but fasting IS making me hungry! But yes, not eating pizza, not sipping coffee...and above this, getting hammered in the market should make one angry! :p

Rob, SOME rationality HAS to prevail. I don't know HOW big a crash they want? Don't worry...9/11's just around the corner... ;)

I agree asad, but it sure can be frustrating to be rational in an irrational market!

keep on surfing the oil trend.
