i also meant to say ..the markets finished very bullish today an nfp are leaning towards being market pos an usd neg..so again...why would some1 run the risk of getting squezzed on there shorts position going into a volitile nfp..unless the 40-f forms were bad..which i don;t know due to not seeing the report myself..but i know cameco is very liquid to the markets an if the markets rise further cameco will gap up soo fast...just don;t make sence..im very suspicious...gl all

@ forum, mayb u guys can help me out on this situation...today cameco(cco) was brutally beaten down to 26.80(-5%)..while most uranium stocks rose..apparently they submitted annual 40-f form to the us gover..so i thought it might be a short squezze but covered by the end of day..which it wasn;t an cameco finished near the low...so my problem is.. who in there rite mind would leave a short position on the worlds biggest uranium producer goin into a long weekend, nfp due tomor,an markets closed but fx trading open...is it possib that markets sell off regardless of the data an thats why cameco shorts not covered??if we get a rally in usd would the markets gap down on mon due to being closed tomor..thanks for ur thoughts gl

USD weakness prompting broad rally in commodities so oil traders will want to retest 86. But i would not buy anything here above 85.

maybe this is a short covering rally as most stops would have been around 84 and higher. It is easier to run stops in thinner markets. could collapse quite quickly in a day or two

Chloe,

In & out...basically, day trading. But yeah, I've left some minimal positions floating in expectations of a downfall. Theoretically, even if I was stopped out somewhere, it would only be a loss out of the grand haul made within the last two weeks! :p

I'm REALLY tempted to open a short at 84.50 - mnd you, today's Friday...and these guys (the US guys, I mean) would NEVER leave themselves exposed to FOUR days of holidays...
