Hi Ashraf

Are you still sticking to your guns on 0.617 for NZD, 1.58 for GBP & 1.378 for EUR before the trend reverses up?

Gunjack, i still await that 0.6170 target for NZDUSD, 1.18 for USDCAD (later this week). Oil targets 60 this week.

Hi Ashraf - 2 questions if I may

1. Do you believe NZDUSD is still allowing further opps to short. Currently at 0.6256

2. As oil has now broken through 65 ( as predicted by you) where do you see the next level of major resistance as long as the mkts keep tumbling.

Thanks
Gunjack

cappy, cougr, RBNZ wants a lower NZD so it could be one of the first currencies to weaken vs USD and JPY at the next leg down in equities. 0.6170 seesm to be the next key major support.

Ashraf, he's (RBNZ chief)definitely keen on keeping rates down and apparently he's concerned that the swine flu will severely impede economic growth .

Hi Ashraft,

Do you think NZD/USD will hit 0.6170 soon?

Thanks,
Cappy

Cougr, interesting how RBNZ chief continues to tell markets he expects NZD to be markedly lower nexst year.

Any further cuts to official interest rates ,which now seems very likely ,and this pair (NZDUSD) as well as other NZD crosses will fall quite markedly from current levels.
