Those calls favouring GBPAUD and EURAUD are facing stubborn resistance by the soaring Aussie as wheat prices soar on Russian draught and Copper/gold rise on Feds public ruminations about the possibility to add fresh QE. Though GBPAUD broke above that Jul 6 trend line, its back down towards 1.73, key support stands at 1.7250, whikle EURAUD support remains at 1.43.

Orange, OIL has outperformed gold oil over past weeks. Aussie fundamentals are mainly due to wheat and NOT due to Aussie internals so im reluctant to chase aussie here/

Ashraf, yes euro & sterling coming off in lockstep (will it last though?), but why do you say aussie is coming off? AUDUSD just made a new local high (hasn't been this high since the May 4th plunge: 89 pips to go and the whole fall is negated) while EURAUD fell 60 pips and GBPAUD fell 80.

Bojan, Aussie being helped by soaring wheat prices so i woudnt venture in selling it here against CAD epsecially if CAN jobs disappoint this week.

Today's ADP was good enough to bring down USDCAD towards 1.0180 as i said on twitter

AUD/CAD Daily chart looks very interesting. 200 MA clearly had a lid on the Aussie gains. Do you see much downside on "risk aversion" plays ? it looks overbought at this level to me.

usd cad just finished a five wave down now comes the the three wave correction so I see usd cad going up for now .
