DaveO, finally I've found an intellectual on this board, thought I'd die of boredom!
Bernanke has hardly sorted out the mess with Greenspan - he's added to it big time and when the next blow-out comes in the next year or two America will go down with a bang and take the rest of the world with it. That's why the FED needs to be stopped in its tracks now. Ron Paul and other FED bashers are a distraction - they will never get anything done. People power is the only way.

The only way you will change the world is for all bankers, politicians and people in positions of resposibility to mankind to be genetically modified as a prerequisite to appointment. The scientists are getting very close if you can arrange for their handcuffs to be released. In the meantime we live with what our creator in all his wisdom created. His creation requires modification for the planet to survive.

Mobarak was in power for 30 years, the FED's been in power for almost 100 years. Can't wait for the day I see the celebrations on the street when people power ousts this unelected bunch of crooks.

I think most guys on this forum are fully aware of the power of the Fed. The rot started way back with Greenspan pumping M.3 to pay for wars and encourage asset bubbles. Stock mkts were directly manipulated from the 2003 lows. Our man Brown in the UK followed closely behind having already sold all our gold at the lows as soon as he took on the treasury. Corruption has been rife for many years amongst the politicians. None of this is new ! Bernanke inherited the Greenspan mess. I doubt Obama will do anything other than keep spending and congress is a den of thieves. It's all in the american genetic code :-)

Take your mission elsewhere !

The West hardly has a democratic process - politicians are corrupt and in the pockets of big business and the banksters. I don't know why we Westerners think we are so high and mighty - all have are double standards and self interest. Which brings me to the FED. You guys are all going to get burnt long term playing the markets - the FED will take away all your money. In case you haven't noticed the markets are rigged.

End the FED and live peaceful lives.
