HI everyone , as adults ,it would be mutch wiser to leave this section for questions and thuoghts focused on Ashraf's book, thanks for your comprehension.
Ashraf; in your book (page 105 figure 4.21) about "EUR/USD vs US-Eurozone yield spreads, can you help me get a clearer understanding ? let's say EMU GDP is -0.1 and the US is -0.1;the EMU int.rate is 1% and the US is 0.25%, now the German 10 yr yield is @3.24 and the US10 yr yield is @3.34(00.30AM london time), so let's assume the US yield drop to 2.01% in the next few days, the EUR/USD could appreciate for the EMU int.rate and the 10 yr yield are higher despite the GDP figures? and where can I see this chart updated(figure 4.21)? thanks ;
Ashraf, in chapter 6 of your book, you mentioned the C.O.T report wich I would like to master the interpretation; in this case, if you can post a short video in the media zone section showing an example between two currencies and what to look for, this would help me gain a great insight for my career. thanks,
FXHandler, well 30 pips is actually quite good thinking if you get the direction 70% - 90% of the time right!!! I enter each position with higher amount and that increases my total winning. Good luck Houram
Asad, for your comment, I was 1 day to early. *After I put my trade, my uncle called, he told me to go long CHF/NOK from 6,28 to 6,75...... I had already put my stupid trade in. He was very correct. It went upto 6,76, before falling down in 5 cycles to 5,72..... I should have been a multimillionare now. High-risk taking, talk to me... It was extreme. Remember, that as an amateur I actually predicted 6,71... but impatience... right?
My report is on the way. For you and all to learn my stupid mistakes.
Asad, Yes, I am sorry to say so. I was a real amateur then... It have been crazy, more than words can say. I learned from this, ALLOT! So I am more carefull now. Making the money back again..... Well, some day I will. Trust me.
DID FX WRITE NOK508,000??!! F*****g h**l!! And did he write he lost a SIMILAR amount before? I reckon then he must be preparing a NEW 508,000. Wow man! Forget how you lose 508,000...HOW do you MAKE 508,000 in the first place??!!
I really don't remember when or how much loss I've made...but if you take my six-yr average...it'll be green - positive! From memory...I go into trades like a cowboy...but when I feel (gut feel, yes...believe me!) things are going out of hand...i com down heavily of risk management and end up recovering the loss somehow.
Like I've ALWAYS backed myself on undercutting the loss and reducng the average, e.g. if my average is 10 on two CFDs...and the price goes to 8...I will buy keep buying as the price decreases until I break even and get out at minimum profit! Basic common sense...but I've NEVER underestimated the power of common sense!
My leverage varies - for equities, it has been as low as 5X...in gold it has been 20X...and don't even ask my leverage on oil right now! :p The enthusiasm in my posts will give a pretty goos (& risky) indication...
