For those who noticed the likes of Aus and GBP, etc spiking at about 17:00 and like me wondered what happened, I believe was caused by the spike in Gold. I was on the wrong side though.

spec, yes, id see comms higher by year-end with a real chance for gold to regain $1000 and 1200

Mass consolidation on Aud/USD 15 minutes chart. Cable also. Sidelines mode possibly.

ashraf, since you are generally bearish over the dollar year end, are you expecting higher inflation and commodities?

Nately, id say AUD, NZD and NOK could be the currencies with the most notable gain vs GBP by end of this year.

Slaiman, gold and silver are indeed up. gold hit 944. but careful with this dollar selloff ahead of Thursday's payrolls.

Does it not seem strange to see Gold and silver down today, while the dollar was also down?

USDJPY, thatw as too simple of an explanation. I still expect USDJPy lower--good short at these levels.

You still see USD/JPY as a good short this week or this being dependent on the equity markets?
