EURUSD's downtrend is now confirmed after its 50-day MA has fallen below its 100-day MA, strengthening the bearish technical signal with an already deteriorating fundamental foundation.

I would have to say the man was "dead on" last november, to hell with jan 6, you could have been holding short since then. that being said i played the correlation trade which obviously was totally wrong. dx up mkt down. Should have put a forex trade on then.

Ashraf, could I ask your opinion on this report from Goldman Sachs saying the UK economy will outperform major economies in 2010? To which major economies were they refering to?

Alexforex, as i have argued on twitter earlier today, the USD Index has not yet formed a Golden Cross when using the 50 (or 55) day moving average vs. the 100 day moving average. so watch out for it soon.

WIll be on Bloomberg TV Wednesday 7.45 am GMT (2.45 am EST)

USDX: On 1H at the moment and Daily chart, this is looking somewhat bearish to me, price-action-wise.
May just be indicating a pullback though, rather than a reversal.
